Crazy as hell

The tenants who live in some of the homes we manage of certifiable.  I have to talk to these folks all day and they drive me bananas.  Some of them want to tell me all of their damn problems and if I hear about one more sick kid, sick parent, sick tenant, or financial hardship, I am going to scream.  All this as an excuse for why their rent isnt paid.  Then you see them out in the street driving hot cars or carrying bags from expensive stores.  Some of them are such bullshitters, they could really parlay it into a career.  And I thought I had an active imagination.  They really drive Tracey crazy, she is the leasing director.  She has to deal with these crazies before we even decide to rent to them.  Oy, I know I could never do what she does.  Sometimes when I'm on the phone with them I just want to tell them to shut the hell up...........the patience of a saint is needed and I dont even come close.

Toby and Ellie will not let me go.  Want other ideas for other couplings but hell no, its just them.....what the hell.  I have about 4 days until the new year and I may be able to shoot out another two stories about them.  I love writing so this is not technically a complaint, just an observation.  I need to buy some posterboard so I guess I will end up getting dressed tomorrow to head down to 60th Street, thats where you buy all the crap you need, from posterboard to braiding hair and watch batteries.  Just lots of discount and junk stores....the perfect place to buy some more tights for the cold weather.  I am one of those people who loves to make collages, at least I used to and I havent in years.  I have all these cut out pictures that I have had for over a year and just never did anything with.  Since I want to change my room for the new year I think  I am going to make collages and take down some of the old posters in my room.  Pam Grier stays though.......I dont think my room would even be my room if I took down Coffy.

Damn glad the week is over..........let the weekend begin.

I seriously can't agree more. With the exception of Christmas, the week pretty much sucked.

As far as the crazy tenants, yeah I know what you mean there. We have so many patients who abuse the system for all it's worth. If they spent as much time trying to actually get a job and get a life as they spend trying to see what they can get for free, they'd actually be productive members of society. Now I'm talking mostly about the lazy drug addicts who haven't done a damn thing but drugs in years, not the truly mentally ill.

I spend a lot of my day dealing with people who cheat the system and then get frustrated because I try to help the people who really need it and constantly hit brick walls. If I see one more Range Rover pulling into the projects and a chick in a fur coat getting out you might see me on the news Gin.......not in a good way.

Collages are cool! I wish I had the patience; maybe I'll try to make some, but I have no pictures, ah well. Thank God this week is over!!! Woohoo!

The best place to start collage-wise is with your favorite thing. The one I am going to work on this weekend will be West Wing. In college I made like 20 of them and they were all over my walls in my dorm room and then my apartment.

It worked. I absolutely love that song and just rediscovered the CD about two days ago. I own so many CDs that sometimes I dont listen to something in forever.

Noelle, tube socks, and Iron Maiden....dont know if it gets any better than that :)
