FIC POST
The last of the West Wing drabbles is done folks.  Boy, were they a lot of fun......totally took me back.  Now I get to dive into Criminal Minds, ideas have already been going through my head so it will be interesting to see what I come up with.

Title: Peace Accord

Author: Montiese

Category: Friendship

Characters: Abbey Bartlet, CJ Cregg

Rating: TEEN

Word Count: 130

Summary: It wouldn’t be the first time she smoked, but it would surely be the strangest.

Author’s Note: written for the prompt I want you to get high/don’t ask me why from harlowbabe. We can just assume Leo did not die.

“Why don’t we call it a peace pipe?”

“I'm sorry, ma'am?” CJ looked up from her paperwork.

“Claudia Jean, I asked you to get drunk with me once. You said yes. Now I'm asking you to get high.”

“Am I being Punk’d?”

Abigail Bartlet laughed and it took the White House Chief of Staff back to a time when everything didn’t seem so damn hard. It wouldn’t be the first time she smoked, but it would surely be the strangest.

“It’s Election Day, and we won.” Abbey said. “I say we celebrate.”

“Color me confused.”

Abbey didn’t want to talk anymore. She just took her hand and led her down to the Steam Pipe Distribution Room. Charlie would take care of the President and two women might be able to mend what was broken.

Title: Bubble Boy

Author: Montiese

Category: Romance

Pairing: CJ/Leo

Rating: TEEN

Word Count: 142

Summary: Leo knew and he liked what he saw.

Author’s Note: written for the prompt bubble from harlowbabe.

He’d never done anything like this before but his companion made it quite enjoyable. Leo could only smile as her bubble-covered hands slid down his chest. Her giggle excited him; it had been a while since either had been so relaxed. He couldn’t remember the last time he was in a bathtub much less a bubble bath. It was probably as a child and surely not as much fun. The exhaustion and stress just melted away as CJ ran the soapy sponge across his shoulders and down his chest. She sat in front of him, more bubbles obstructing his view but he knew what was under there. Leo knew and he liked what he saw. He took her hand, gently holding her wrist while guiding it under the water. There was one muscle in particular that could use her very special attention.

Title: Endings, Beginnings, and What Will Always Be

Author: Montiese

Category: Character Study

Pairing: CJ/Leo

Rating: YTEEN

Word Count: 324

Summary: He had more shadows than a dark alley; more demons than the seventh gate of hell.

Author’s Note: written for the prompt what you lost/and what you had/and what you lost from sterling_sky. This one got long but it tends to when Leo is thinking.

It was over. If he let himself think about it, it had been over for a long time. His head hadn’t been in his marriage for longer than he could remember. He came home every night because it was home. There was no love there, no laughter, just obligations and routine. None of it was Jenny’s fault, but surely he was tired of blaming himself. She stood by him, she had been a good wife, but nothing lasted forever.

Leo tried to be a good husband, losing more to his demons than his lack of love for his wife. No, it wasn’t love it was…where else did you go after 30 years? Who would want him? He had more shadows than a dark alley; more demons than the seventh gate of hell. Sometimes he didn’t even like his own company so surely a woman wouldn’t want it. All he had now was this office, with its TVs on CNN, the comfy leather chair, and Margaret outside. Margaret…she never let him down. She would always be there, having Leo’s back as he had everyone else’s.

She was just a friend though. He could trust her with his life though he never dared. Well maybe he had and had been too drunk or high to know it. She knew him inside and out and would never leave. How could he ask that of any other woman…he had actually never asked it of Jenny?

“Earth to Leopold,” CJ waved her hand in front of his face.

“What do you need, CJ?” he took his glasses off, rubbing his eyes and the bridge of his nose.

“Margaret is gone. I need you to get your coat and come with me.”

“What?”

“Get your coat and come with me.” She repeated.

“You want to tell me where we’re going?” he asked.

“No. You want to turn me down?”

Leo stood from the chair and shook his head. “No.”

Title: Wrapped Up

Author: Montiese

Category: Humor/Romance

Pairing: CJ/Josh

Rating: TEEN

Word Count: 127

Summary: “What if I didn’t get you anything?”

Author’s Note: written for the prompt party from tokyo_girlie.

“Claudia Jean, I think I'm drunk.”

“That means you know you're drunk.”

“I'm still standing.”

“That’s just because you haven’t sat yet.”

“I would much rather lay.” Josh leaned on the wall beside her, his hand tracing her stomach.

CJ felt the butterflies in her stomach, once again wondering how the hell he made her feel that way.

“You mean pass out?” she asked. “Alcohol usually means you pass out and I listen to you snore.”

“That’s too much alcohol.”

“So what do you call this?”

“This is a birthday party. It’s my birthday and I want to go some place private and unwrap my gifts.”

“What if I didn’t get you anything?” she asked, grinning.

“You’re the giving kind, CJ. I doubt I will be disappointed.”

RANDOM:

Have you seen The Chumscrubber? Allison Janney married to Bill Fichtner!
SSA McGeek: Claudia Jean.....gigglymcgarrygirl78 on April 26th, 2009 09:10 pm (UTC)
The Chumscrubber.....ah yes. Kinda weird, slightly crappy movie with bad teenage actors and really excellent adult ones. The highlight of that film for me....Ralph Fiennes being obsesssed with dolphins and Allison Janney doing her real, adorably graceless, sexy laugh somewhere near the end. Ooh, ooh and Glenn Close FTW!!!!!!

Ohh, the dolphin bit hasn't happened yet. But he has been standing weirdly on juice. I have no idea what's going on! There's a million stars in it though!

Ahh, here's the dolphins...
