A Final Thought
Today was a wonderful day.  I didnt even have to have a drink.  I laughed, ate, hugged, heard from friends, and got super groovy gifts.  My uncle, the one who always buys me a hoodie, even got new and gave me a Best buy gift card.  I am so stoked because I wanted to get a MP3 player and now I can without paying too much for it.  Blissfulness.

We played Scattergories, watched basketball (though I am not a big sports fan), and laughed until our stomachs hurt.  All my family loved their gifts and this is the first year in too long to remember where I didnt feel underappreciated.  It was a great feeling and I want it to carry me into the new year.

So now I sit in my disgustingly unclean room thankful that I have the day off work tomorrow.  I am going to spend it writing, typing my latest story, and lying around in one of my new pairs of pajamas.  My sister has to work so I am going to be home alone.  That is all kinds of happiness that makes me want to dance on a table.  In other news, I spoke to my other sister today, actually spoke with her and heard her voice for the first time in probably 4 years.  I dont know how it made me feel but I know it was something I was supposed to do.  I always felt cheated for having two sisters and neither one of them being my best friend.  We grow up on stories, movies, and television where all the sisters love each other and even if their relationships are adverserial, they know that when everything else fails them, their sister will not.  Yeah, that is not my relationship with either one of my sisters.  Sometimes I dont even think we came from the same womb.........if I didnt look so much like both of my parents I would think I was dropped on the doorstep in a basket.

Anyhoo,  just wanted to wrap us this wonderful day with a bow.  It was perfect and it deserved to be written about.  So, I wanted to do just that as I munched on barbecue potato chips and drank Kool Aid.  Kool Aid is so the shit, and I only drink it like 3 times a year.
